Tire Help!!!

I am getting a new tire for my 24" torker lx. I am looking at a 24" x 2.5" maxxis hookworm. I am anxious to see if it fits though. I say this because my rim is 1 inch wide and I am not sure if I need a fatter one. If anyone know anything about this please post or PM me.:)

it should fit without a problem and its a good tire to have. much better than the lx stock. You might want to make sure that the tire can clear the top of the frame

pretty much what mouse said, make sure the tire wont hit the frame. Also, don't think a trials tire will make your uni a trials uni. If your doing MUni and want the tire to absorbs bumps, thats good then. Just don't do high drops. That's how my LX broke.

I have a Maxxis Hookworm on a 24" x 1" rim on my regular ride, and it works fine. Especially for a 210 pounder!
