I got my first uni off ebay and typical ebayians, the wheel buckled a few days later.

Sounds like it would work. But if you want a great, durable learning unicycle. Get the Torker Unistar LX 20-inch (http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=634). That one's wheel wont buckle the first few weeks.
Welcome to the forums!

Hello, and welcome.:D
I reccomend that you get an LX like Poseidon said. If you get that it will last you longer and when you get a bit better it will allow you to do bigger drops than a normal learner would.
