Can you really do 16 mph on a 20" wheel, and if so are you using really short
cranks or something? I figure that would require about 4.5 revolutions per
second which I think is well faster than my legs like to go.

I'd be interested in any tips for improving top speed.

Sorry, that was a typo. When I said 20" wheel, I meant to repeat the 29" quoted
by the original rider.

16 mph on a 20" would be quite impressive. My personal best, back when I had my
old Cateye SOLAR on my old racing unicycle (it gave you a top speed in tenths),
was 17.5 mph on a 24" wheel with 5" cranks (legal racing size).

Speaking of speed, I wonder. Is the world's top uni speed 52 kmh ridden by Floyd
crandal on his Big Wheel? John Foss should know the answer to that. Perjhaps we
need (or do we have) and an ftpable file with uni records?
