Another wrong name for unicycles

"Tricycle" is the most common wrong word I hear people use when they are
trying to name my vehicle. I get this from kids up to and including lots
of high schoolers (Americans). Is this how we teach our kids? Many
people ask me, "Can you really ride that . . . tricycle?" To which I
respond, "Sure. Can't YOU ride a tricycle? I did it when I was 2!"

This is a small distinction, but the Miyata I just bought is a UNI CYCLE.

No, I don't think so either. We could easily bump the list up to hundreds with
these, but they'd only have been used by one or two people struggling to
*describe* or *point out* what they saw, not name it.

If you include _funny thing_, you should also include that weird thing that
silly thing that thing that what that funny man's riding that over there etc.
etc. ad infinitum

Humor or not, *if you have heard it used*, especially often, they qualify
for the list.
