Wow, that is amazing.
The part where he hammers in the nail is just way cool.
It looks almost like the hammers are guided to the nail.

And really dangerous. I can't imagine why he would want the wall behind him, as he can't jump back if he screws up.
It looks very difficult to me, but not impossible.
Impressive, but kinda insane IMHO.

Trivial at best, I can juggle hammers and so can anybody that can juggle clubs and has 5min. Hitting the nail and balancing are 2 thing I can't do so I cannot speak for those. Overall a cool trick, bit not amazing.

Hammer juggling is doable, but very difficult. Club jugglers don't have to concern themselves with "spin", just rotation. What I mean is that a club may spin randomly, yet as long as it's rotation is correct, the handle will land fine in my hand and I'm styling.
To do this "hit the nail trick", control of spin is needed to make sure that the head of the hammer strikes the nail, rather then the side or back of the hammer. Excellent spin control is key here, a factor of no concern in round club juggling.
This is a very specialized trick, but real I think. I wish there was a farther back shot as he was hitting the nail. I suspect it was a double spin up, and a single spin down.
I can't do this trick myself, and I have never seen it done. My guess is it is real. The rhythm looked correct IMHO. ;)

I once had the ambition of doing something like that /throwing the hammer like a tomahawk into the nail). But my lack of patience, wood and hammers convinced me otherwise. Would look great, though:D

EDIT: @ feel the light
I juggle hammers all the time, its not diifficult to do at all. You just have to know how to juggle clubs. You start with two balls and a hammer, then progress to two hammers and a ball, then three hammers. This process (for me) took about 5 minutes.

Even when he is simply juggling the hammers, you can see there is no spin. Of course you can do it, but it'd be a wonderful challenge.
They now sell hammers with art prints on them ($20.00), if you're doing an act.
here's another cool juggling video!

wow.... uhh the victor kee guy was the most impressive juggler ive ever seen. I have never been so amazed and creeped out at the same time. Perhaps they could find a better uhh costume for him so that you dont feel homosexual for watching the whole video.

He is not a really powerful juggler. I appreciate his originality. I think he is much more into ballet and acrobatics, body building etc. , then power juggling. But that's ok. I have seen a lot of unoriginal power jugglers, so it is refreshing to see such a talented dancer integrate that so well with his act. Much of the material is original IMHO, it is really an exceptional act. First class.
The totally gay nature of it doesn't bother me. I live in a really gay town LOL.:)

There is an idea, although he might have just not said what he meant clearly. Something like that can easily make somebody very uncomfortable. He could have not known how to exactly express what he meant, not making it any less offensive, but said it in a way which made him sounded homophbic when he is not.

sorry i didnt realize the way i phrased that. it wasnt ment to offend anyone. there are better ways to phrase it. i was just a bit uncomfortable with the costumes.

Have you checked out Vova's "Juggling in Russia" video yet? It's easily the best one out there.

Jason Garfield and Vova are both amazing jugglers. But their style is more geared toward an audience of jugglers. For the *rest of the world,* you need something more, optionally, to make it more of an overall artistic experience. That's why Vicktor Kee gets the big bucks.
Why think the hammer video is fake? The guy is obviously juggling hammers, obviously comfortably. Why is it such a stretch to think he can't pound in nails, especially if he does that for a living? We don't know if he's a carpenter, but if he is it fits nicely for me.
