They are both good but if all you care about is street and trials you will end up enjoying Defect more.

There aren't that many uni vids even out on the market. How can you not justify spending the $20. I could understand if it was just another old skate vid that might suck anyways, but this is a pretty rare sport to be pinching pennies.

I think I remember him saying that it cost him $10,000 to make. I don't think that that included the same equipment he used for Universe 1 and 2.

To an extent but its still the same crime and same action as downloading an album by "almost a big deal" band "Kill Hannah" (they tour out of a broken 15 passenger van and aren't anywhere remotely close to being filthy rich rockstars) or downloading Saw 4 when it comes out even though it will probably make tens of millions.

If you like it, buy it.
If you want to support the people that deserve credit, buy it.
If you feel obligated to buy it after watching it, buy it.
If you for some reason don't buy it after watching it for free, try to dodge bullets of fellow unicyclists that may call you a bad person (as they undoubtedly sit back at home or work listening to one of the hundreds or thousands of songs in their /mp3/ directory).

I don't own a single music CD, and I have my 30gb Archos MP3 player filled with 25gb of music no lower than 192kbit.

I own two DVDs, Wayne's World Boxset, I have burned about 400-500 DVD-Rs in the last 4 years I have had my DVD burner.

My Archos has a few Unicycle movies on it, and a couple bike trials movies too, good to pass time at school with, when nobody wants to do work.

I've not failed any classes, except gym, but that's because I have a heart problem, and now I am exempt from gym.

Nah, I'm actually taking 4 1/2 years, I don't like sitting in a classroom for the majority of my day, so I just dropped classes and took an extra semester.

I actually preordered Defect when it came out, and like all DVDs I purchase I immediately ripped it to my computer then put the DVD on the shelf, never to be touched again. It's so much more convenient to have a copy on my hard drive versus digging out the DVD whenever I want to give something a watch.


Anyway, I left the Defect DVD at my parent's house in the US with all of my other stored stuff. I'm now half a world away and accidentally missed the directory Defect was in during a hard drive transfer to my new laptop.

In other words, I want a copy of Defect to watch, and I have no moral qualms with downloading a copy of a video that I already legally own.
