Yes, when I was 12. I was in the middle of the countryside riding home from a friends house. I had to be in earlier than the friends that I had ridden there with so was riding home on my own.

This guy stopped his car and starting chatting to me. I was bought up to be polite and thought he may be a friend of my parents so was answering his questions. I had told him loads of things like where I lived and where I went to school. Then he asked me if I would have sex with him.

3. Be careful about the way you put stranger danger over to children - you don't in any way want them thinking it's their fault, children are kind of pre disposed to thing everything is their fault anyway.

Of course I know some other things now as well, such as children and women are actually in more danger from people they know than from strangers and this is even more difficult to protect children from.
