Hello I am new to this forum, and rather new to unicycling in general. I live in Arlington, VA just outside of DC and I am looking for some fellow unicyclists to learn from. I can freemount easily as well as ride for several miles without incident. I am learning hop right now and would appreciate having other unicyclist enthusiasts to hang out with. Since I work at REI I was able to get a really nice discount on a KH 24 muni and hs33 magura brakes, so I'm pretty well set up in terms of gear.

So basically my question is: is there a group in the DC area that gets together to unicycle?

Yes, another DC area rider! I am actually starting a Washington DC unicycle club and putting together a meeting soon. PM me your contact info (email address and name) and I will shoot you an email when I get the meeting together.

I am in Fairfax myself, but bike and unicycle by Arlington a lot on the W&OD trail. I have a coker (36"er), 29"er, 20" kh trials, and bc wheel that you can try out if you want. There are a few other riders in the MD/DC/VA area that sound interested in meeting up as well, so we can probably get a decent club going.

I didn't know that REI sold KH munis by the way, that is strange to me.

Look forward to meeting you as well as a few others,
