In pain

Last night my mom and I made a trip to super wal-mart. I got an oatmeal raisin cookie from subway. About 5 minutes after I ate it my face was turning beat red like instant sunburn. It also felt like sunburn. I didnt really think much of it, it really wasnt that painful when it turned red. So I go home and stayed up 'til two or three o' clock. Nothing else happend. I woke up this morning and my eyes are 3/4 way swollen shut, the so called "sunburn" hurts way worse, and my nose is stuffed up. My eyelid is about a centimeter thick. My mom is going to get me some benadryl, and if there is no effect, then we are going to our doctor.

That's sounds very much like an allergic reaction to me. As a father whose son has a severe food allergy, I know it is not something to mess around with. See a doctor soon.

Sounds like allergies, probably something you ate. It doesn't sound fun.

I think it's 1 of the ingredients in the oatmeal raisin cookie that triggered your allergy and you didn't know. I would consult a doctor just to find out what it is that you're allergic to. So it doesn't happen a 2nd time and become even more dangerous/serious.

No, alot of people wanted me to get a picture but alot of the swelling is down now. Not to mention I dont have batteries for my camera.

I guess the only way to tell is to get get another cookie from Subway and see if it happens again.
