it is using the same picture twice in a row in an animation, to implement slow motion.

As soon as everyone gets colour cameras people think its really cool to take black and white pictures...

well this is pivot. i know pivot doesn't run on macs, but there are plenty of other animation programs such as easytoon which is free, and flash, which is not.

but easy toon is a good selection. it is not quite like pivot, but it is good fun.

just google search easytoon animator.
