I went for the first time last week. It was fun but not something i'd necessarily want to do again very soon. Also it was pretty damn expensive, although I expect the cost drops alot if you can bring your own stuff and don't have to buy the paintball from the place you're playing at. I found it ironic that getting shot in the face is distinctly less painful than gettting shot pretty much anywhere else.

I love it, however I have a phirana, so of course you know...Its broken. I havent done anything other than woodsball but speedball fields look fun.

I love it, its fun, but expensive. I gave it up about a year ago. I had a TIPPMANN 98 CUSTOM, all decked out, but sold it along with all my stuff. It was just to much keep up. I didn't play enouph I guess. But man, it's fun.

Oh yeah, the face dont hurt at all. But I hate getting shot in the face. You have to clean your mask all off, and in those little cracks.

Ive been shot pretty much everywhere, and I have to say a bare, open hand hurts the worst. (but I havn't got shot in the berries...so that might take the cake)

yeah its fun but it is expensive.. i got an ion with an on/off asa, a different grip i got from my friend (its that smoke colored ion one)...
other than that its all stock..
i havent played in a tourney since last summer and i havent played for a while...i was getting really serious but ran out of money cuse speedball tourneys were running me 100dollars and i was spending almost 300 a month on paint and tourneys...then i got into unicycling and its alot cheaper but paintball was alot of fun..
you shouldnt be getting shot in the nuts unless ur running to a bunker..i mean seriously ur letting that much of ur body stick out of the bunker!!
One time i was in the snake and popped around a bunker and this guy was there on the other side (it was at the 50 in a little sideways pop can) and we let rip maybe 10 balls and we both shot eachother but i got him first and i saw the ball hit the inside of his thigh and his gut too, so the ref called me clean and the guy started cussing up a storm..i got shot in the hand and didnt even feel it cuse my adrenaline was goin soo fast!!!

I have myself an A5 tippmann, which is set up for first shot accuracy. I have been playing for four years now, can't see myself giving it up soon. Oh, and getting shot in the nuts is terrible, you blank out from the pain. I wear a karate cup now. ouch.

do u use a flatline barrel?
How can u wear a cup, they are so uncomfy..just get some pants made for paintball, they have lots of padding in that area..

no, this is like a flexible cup. I do not use a flatline, it's too loud, and I play as the team marksman. I have silenced everything in my weapon and have an 18" St!ffi barrel

my lil bro got a stiffi for his ion and its pretty sick...
i think the bore was a lil big though and it was kinda of wierd at times..
im too lazy to go check the size of it to tell you..

kids who take their mask off during game play either loose eyes or get cussed out by me...on kid did that one day when we were playing some rec ball and it was him and his guy versus 3 of us and we had the kid in a corner and we came from behind him and the side and he took off his mask..fortunantly he never lost an eye.stupid kids..

it can be because u have to buy air and paint..or if u shoot alot u can spend alot more
if u dont shoot alot u might only have to spend about 40dollars..
if u dont play at a field then u dont have to pay a field fee...

i paintball! ive been playing for about 7 years. 7 years? yeah, sounds right. I LOVE IT! some of my friends tell me thaht i should be on a team but im like PSSHH! no thanks! its not that serious...
as for guns i have:
Two SP Ions -heavily modded
Two SP Impulses -stock
a timppman 98 - 18" teardrop barrel (this thing is like 10years old)
a few spyders.

Wanna know how much I spend when I go ballin', $5. I have my own CO2 tanks (courtesy of pepsi) and all I have to buy is paint because who needs a field when you've got 100 acres of woods just a 1/2 mile away. YAY!

i had an angel, got it for 800, but then paintball got too damn expensive, so airsofts my game.. there is a place called "cousins" where you can play heavy electric airsoft that hurts like hell from close range.
