Do you want to go to the barber but keep all your hair? Try this, it really convinced me at some points: Virtual Haircut (http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=22913)

One thing: You HAVE to put on earphones and close your eyes in order for it to work.
I swear, it's nothing scary or humiliating.

It's a binaural recording (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_recording). It's a neat recording technique for headphone specific music and sound effects. There are some additional binaural sound clips at The Freesound Project (http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/tagsViewSingle.php?id=1190). The Binaural Source (http://www.binaural.com/serendipity/index.php?/categories/2-Sample-Sounds) also has some sound samples. You can also buy special albums of music recording in binaural.

Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult is a binaural recording.
Godzilla is not a binaural recording. It pans heavily from side to side in places. Heavy panning is not binaural. Binaural is a recording technique (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_recording) typically done using a dummy recording head with microphones in each ear. There is no artificial panning in a binaural recording.

I so wanted to answer the phone! Make sure you close your eyes when listening and make sure some brat can't sneak up behind you.

That was great! I loved it from the beginning to the end. And especially the guitar in the corner.
