what does everyone listen to when they ride. I listen to Pinback now days. I tend to lean more to the calm music for when i'm riding.

I only listen when I ride my coker, but not Muni since it requires my full concentration. But when cokering, I have about 400 songs to choose from on my ipod, and the music variety is fairly diverse, ranging from classic rock from the 60's-80's, pop, easy listening, classical, metal, and some jazz. It's all good!

I really like the new Beastie Boys Cd: The Mix-Up, entirely instrumental. It's good stuff. It's more jam than their normal rap beats.

Most of you are only mentioning *one* group, and so I'm assuming that you guys are listening to *variety* of music when you ride, and not a handful of songs from just one artist. That would get old pretty fast, no matter WHO it was. Of course if you're just riding for a short time than I can understand that. I'm on my coker for at least 2 hours at a stretch, so I really need to mix things up.

I can listen to dream theater, rhapsody, children of bodom, iced earth, and all other bands I ahve on my mp3 players for hours and hours. :pOk so you're listening to whole albums, one after another? Usually, for me anyway, I find that there are maybe 3-4 good songs (if that) on any given CD, unless it's greatest hits. That why I like to put only individual favorites on my Ipod, and not just whole albums, unless they are ALL good, which is rare. Beatles, Boston (first album), Some Zeppelin CD's and only a handfull of others have *all* great songs on one album. Again, I just like a lot a variety.

I've never heard of a hefty majority of those either.

I never listen to music when I ride...mostly because I don't have a portable listening device.

I really like the gorillaz... a lot. D2 is a genious I think. I also listen to the chili peppers, the raconteurs, the white stripes, metallica, z.z.top rules,I like dragon force too. The harder stuff is for when i want to get pumped with energy for trying something new that might otherwise scare me or if I want to go harder. stuff like metallica, and korn. Oh yeah and older stuff like van halen, def leopard, aerosmith, etc. I'm really digging OZZY'S new album.
