I couldn't think of a title...

Anyway, most of the clips are new, some old.

Not much special as such, the hop was 92cm.

What d'you think aye?

xxxx

[Edit] This is a slightly different vid from the one some of you have seen on youtube. Just a few clips moved and transitions and shiz not much.

Ah, finaly a new vid from the king of backflips.
Nice clean flips, realy liked the foot on tire to crankflip.
And I just can't believe you landed that high hop (92cm) with plastic pedals
Anyway, good job.
See you at FLUCK :)

I dub thee officially, God of Backflips. Great vid, amazing flips, and amazing mix of trials and street. You beat me by 2 cm in the high hop, argg. Are you close to Nottingham, because I am coming over to england this summer and I am bringing my uni and I wanted to see if I could get a ride organized.

Cool stuff Mike. Seems like you've got those doublebacks really solid now. The out tre backflip was my favorite trick in the video. It's such a cool trick, I really want to learn them.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys (and girls).

Norry, glad you licked the length, I was going to keep it and make a big video, I'm glad I didn't, I can refilm for the summer now.

Jeff, you have a huge input for names of tricks due to having a skate background, I just feel that Out tre backflip doesn't work. I guess this comes from formula, but Fulloutbackflip makes more sense to me.

An Out tre backflip, to me, means a 180 unispin in to out with a triplebackflip. Because the 'tre' meaning three is placed before the 'flip' so to speak, where as full doesn't imply 'three', just implys '360 unispin' (because full varial is a varial with a 360 unispin).

Is this making sense or will I have to have another go later? Thoughts? Opinions?

Cheers,
xxxx

Yeah I agree, full outbackflip sounds alot better. I just called it Out tre backflip because I couldn't remember the actual name for them, so I just described it as best I could. Full outflip also sounds better than tre outflip too.

Whatever you end up calling it, its still an awesome trick.

Yeah, it might just be me, but I would say he is probably the best at triple backs...

You totally ROCK! Loved the awesome flips.
And you know what Peter said "I'll give him a full case of beer when he lands a quadruple back"
I'd defently go for that promise !

not sure if I should say but there were no triples in this vid :o sorry.I shouldn't worry about that Michael. Doubleflips look blurry enough so most people can't count the amount of times the cranks really went round.

Would tripleflips only be verifyable on slow-motion replay? And if so, would that be any point in learning/doing them at all?

This is coming a little late, but if you're gonna call it a full outflip, then what are you gonna call a 5th outflip when someone gets around to those? If I am thinking right, a full varialflip is a 540 unispin, 180 body varial, and a flip. That means that the full part in full varialflip is the 540 unispin. So I think it makes more sense to call a 5th outflip a full outflip, and a tre outflip a tre outflip.

Hope that makes sense.

540-180=360. at least, I think that's why it is called a full varial flip. the uni only turns 360 degrees relative to the rider.

It does, I would call a 540 unispin from seat in with a flip a huge outflip maybe...? Thats a long way coming though, I reckon I could get a 540 unispin from seat in, just. With a flip, soooo hard.

Correct sir.

full varial and Bigspin dosnt consist a body variel... only a 360 unispin and a 180 hop twist. The uni only turns 360 degrees relative to the rider. But relative to the ground its a 540. Common mistake made by those that can't actually do them.
