Looks like he was actually riding a longboard. Seems to have been about 6 feet long. That style of board is much better suited to carving high speed turns on a downhill than grinding curbs. He should have taken that board out for some high speed action and nifty longboard style spins and turns.

How many days in a row did they need to wear the same clothes to keep the continuity? Or how many extra sets of the same clothes did they need to change out of when they got grass stains?

The wardrobe department doesn't think that style of movie is very practical.
