Why would you get a tattoo? of anything? If you get one you'll probably regret it later! Your skin is fine how it is! Don't do it!
Whatever... My opinion

Since that's what you believe, then you don't get a tattoo...but not everyone agrees which is why some people people get tattoos.
ANYWAY back on topic, yes JJuggle has a few tattoos of a unicycle, a juggler, and an "ultimate wheel" (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33933) (:

Sorry I don't have one. It would be kinda cool but it is permanent. I'd rather just wear a uni shirt or something. What if you get in a car crash and can never uni again? Then you'll have that tatoo for the rest of your life and it will always remind you of what you can't do. That would suck.

I plan on getting one, tho the only guy I will let tatoo me moved to atlanta GA, kinda a drive from CT, anyway eventualy I will make my way down there. My good friend has one on his wrist. Looks very very good, the guy did a ery good job on the spokes and everything, its all cromed out. Looks amazing, really. He later got the evil monkey from family guy in the stand on seat glide postiion on it, pointing how he does. Might sound kinda wierd but thats kinda the style of tatoos he gets, very intresting pieces all and all.
I will get him to take a pic of the uni one, and try and post it here.

yeah i want one on my wrist too!!
the owner of our LBS had a track bike on each wrist and it looks pretty good so i was like...i want a unicycle on each wrist...but ill only get it on one cuse i dont want to have to cover both my wrist with something when school comes around..
i think if i took a pic of an orange bud, and got that, or sumthing along those lines, that would look pretty cool

I have a Uni-Cyclone (http://unicycling.smugmug.com/gallery/933327#42719957) tattoo on my calf. But this one (http://unicycling.smugmug.com/gallery/728931#32018900) is my favorite.
Yes, getting a tattoo is a risk. Your tastes may change, you may get injured and unable to ride, etc. I chose to get a little one.

You are only 15. You'll see.
Or you'll get drunk and not want to see what you got.
Either way.
Hmm, I have thought about some cool unicycling tattoo designs, but nothing have came out of them yet. Some of the ones you guys have are sweet looking.

Don't get one on your wrist.
If you really want one, do it on the calf or somewhere where it wouldn't be frequently seen. You're only 15. I don't think a unicycle tattoo on the wrist would go over so well at a job interview.
I don't know much about tattoos. But i'd guess a small one would still cost you at least $150.

im not 15 im 16 and ill be a junior in high school next year..
just wanted to clear that up..
yeah the wrist is a risky spot due to the fact that u cant get certain jobs if u have tattoos on your wrist..thats the only thing that worries me..
and the point of getting a tattoo is for it to be seen, well at least in my case...
im thinking about getting a more detailed tattoo on my shoulder instead of my wrist due to the whole u cant get certain jobs thing..
when i turn 17 i think thats when id get it though... kinda like a birthday present for me and so i would be able to save up the money for a nice one..

If I were to get a tattoo, I would get a peace sign on my ankle...or, I think wings on my ankles would be really cool too, because I'm a runner, get it?
Or a peace sign.

jjuggles uni tatt is amazing! Alot of you are looking at this the wrong way if your 15 0r 16 you shouldn't get tattoo'd wait till your 18 and look at the portfolios of all the tattoo artsts its feasable for you to get to, whan you decide on the style of tattoo you want go to the artist with the best ablity in that style, dont go small or worry about the cost as a major stressing point. Small tattoos will never contain as much detail as lardge ones and thus the tattoo artist will be able to do less with it just don't be stupid in terms of size and in relation to cost just remember and exellent tattoo will be with you forever so its worth the cost and don't forget the mantra "Good tattoo's are never cheap and cheap tattoos are never good" and for your own sake don't try to haggle with the artist.:)

I have a small one of a polynesian rainbow god who looks like he's juggling. I found him in a book and got the tattooist to copy it.
I'd like to get a unicycle one but haven't seen a design I like. I'd love something like Steveyo's avatar as it'd match my other one quite nicely.
there‘s a thread on this subject with a few pictures, including mine. Just search for tatoos and it will come.

i personaly dont like the whole idea of getting tattoos where people cant see them, unless you ran out of room on your arms or wherever, or the job u want wont allow you to have them seen.
What kind of jobs would be more difficult to get with a tattoo? I'm thinking a waiter or some cashier in a bank, but what about kewl jobs like doctors or scientists? Would a tattoo be an issue when trying to get a job in those fields?

I have a beatles tattoo on my left forearm and it didn't cost me much. $90. The cost depends on how big you want it, the artist and the colors. Every shop does it different, but for most..don't expect to pay under $80 because of the cost of the supplies, colors..etc..etc..

I have a celtic ring on my right 2nd toe and I have a geko called podzol on the top of my left foot with it's tail curled round my 3rd toe.
I would like to get some kind of small juggling/unicycling tatoo on the inside of my right calf, just above the ankle bone but I haven't found the perfect one yet.

Portraits are very tricky and require a special artistic ability. When considering a portrait make sure to review closely and carefully the artists portfolio to be sure he or she is skilled at tattooing portraits.

I'm a scientist and a doctor, and I have piercings, and soon a tattoo. And yes, some of my male/female colleagues have 'm too. ... we know what society thinks we 'should' look like, so we don't show them all the time. Just be a bit discrete (when choosing the place on the body and wen going for the interview), and there will not be a problem. If you are a good scientist or doctor, people are cool about your appearance as long as you don't make it too crazy.

Steve,
I couldn't stand to see your cool image with those pesky jagged edges. So, I threw it in Inkscape, a vector image program, and converted it to a vector image. If you don't know, vector means that the image has no pixels, i.e. it can be the size of a penny, or the size of a wall, and there will be no pixelation or loss of quality. As another example, Microsoft Office clip art is vectored, so you can make it any size without a problem. So, after making your image all nice and smooth, I exported it as a PNG for ease of use. Hope you can use it.

Nope? Just "nope"?
It's OK if you did use mine (of course). It looks pretty similar. Like the foot in front of the wheel looks the same. The foot behind the wheel looks the same. The lower arm just barely not touching the flute looks the same. The same number of dreadlocks, the front two dreadlocks poking up more than the back three looks the same. Even the wheel, ovalized slightly forward looks the same.
The only difference is it's reversed, pointing left instead of right.
You didn't use my avatar as the basis for that? Did you independently come up with that design? Really?
Here, let me blow it up and reverse it and compare...

The questions about 'fair-use' vs 'public domain' vs 'ask, would ya?' are still up in the air tho.
RIGHT CLICK/COPY/PASTE may well be the most influencial/subversive elements in our society. The COPY/PASTE may prove to be mightier than the ©.
Already in this thread someone's mentioned that they want to copy one of my tattoos.
I guess I can sound like a total grouch and complain about it, but I won't get much sympathy, will I?
Especially not in light of the fact that the 'original' of that tattoo is on an aquaintance of mine.
It's his design. In the original, the leading sperm swims past the egg.
I loved the concept but didn't want to blindy copy his. After lots of thought I eventually figured that with the sperm swimming clean thru the egg it would substantially add to the meaning of the design to justify me thinking of it as an(other) original.
The owner of the original design agrees and is forever getting me to show my version to people familiar with his.
But it's a slippery slope methinks.
And I figure I'm about halfway down.

p.s. I have had the right side of the tire darkened since I took this picture so as to give the rusty apperance i wanted and not look like leopord print.
