It was suggested a few weeks ago that learning to ride along the corridors in
University Hall of Residences was a good idea, since you could steady yourself
against either wall if you began to veer. DON'T, however, steady yourself
against the fire alarm, as my friend did ... yes, 700 people had to be evacuated
from the building (the day before exams start :) ), the fire engines came ...
So, consequently, Chamberlain Hall, Birmingham now has the utterly unique and
bizzare rule : "Unicycling within the Hall is not permitted"
