Here's a video of the Milton Keynes trials session that Edd and Leo did last Sunday. Not that brilliant because it's the very first time that this non-trials rider has filmed trials, and only the third time I've made a full length video.

You'll need the XviD codec (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Koepi_XviD.htm) for this one.

Small version (16Mb) - watch (http://www.unicyclist.com/index.php?page=gallery&g2_itemId=309393) or right click to download (http://www.unicyclist.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=309393)
Large version (39.4Mb) - right click to download (http://gkmac.sdf-eu.org/mklarge.avi)

Note: the large (higher quality) version is temporarily hosted elsewhere, since I've had persistent problems in trying to upload it to the Gallery. You need to download it all first before viewing, and the download speed can be rather slow at times...

Nice one. Thankyou for putting up link to codec download too most helpful. How long as the old station (or wherever it is) been converted to a mini skate park for?
Last skate video I saw (good few year now) never had any of that new stuff on it. Must try visit sometime looks a good place to session.

How long as the old station (or wherever it is) been converted to a mini skate park for?I'm not sure, as it's not my local area. You'd have to ask Eddbmxdude.

I've finally managed to upload the large version to the gallery! While I'm at it I must apologise to everyone who tried to download it from the other webspace and didn't succeed.

Get VLC Media Player, its free and plays basically all audio and video files without having to download codecs http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Just seen this!

Cheers for making it GK! The video is really good, I enjoyed watching it!
Really documents the day well, I like the way the clips are all in the right order too!

Sorry about hitting you with the BC!
Ha Ha, scary close up of my face at the end!

Muniaddict, I used winamp 5 and it worked fine first try, I didnt download the codec, although I might have done before and just forgotten!

Excellent, thanks Gk!

Rock on!
Edd

Video works fine for me but then again I had already installed the codec.

Nice editing GK. I particularly liked the end credit with a cut still on Edd's face, very clever. Was it all using your photo camera as I noticed that you zoomed in on one section?

Looks like a fun day.

Thank you all for your comments.

I always think I take a bit of a gamble when encoding a video with XviD, but I find it gives very decent quality for it's size/bitrate, it's easy to find a codec for it for all operating systems. Besides, nine out of ten videos you find on BitTorrent are encoded with XviD as well, so it's quite a popular codec.Sorry about hitting you with the BC!
Ha Ha, scary close up of my face at the end!It wasn't you, it was the BC wheel's fault. Fortunately I knew it was coming my way and because of the way I was sitting on the ground, I just kicked it away with my feet.

As for your face at the end, I've seen scarier ones (http://www.unicyclist.com/index.php?page=gallery&g2_itemId=289379). You can add that final shot to that gallery if you like. Was it all using your photo camera as I noticed that you zoomed in on one section?Yep, the same Fuji camera (http://www.fuji.co.uk/digital/cameras/m603/) as before. The bit with AJ sitting on his comfy chair, that's the full optical zoom range of that camera believe it or not! I am seriously considering getting some kind of proper video camera, one that has a decent optical zoom and a battery that lasts for more than a day.

I liked that. My favorite part was when <whoeveritwas> jumped onto the black square rail and rode across it.

....but I thought they said white men can't jump?
