Is "wan't" a contraction for "want not"?

So "I wan't to start" would mean "I want not to start"?

My eagle is well actually.

If it was ill, I would give it's drugs directly to the sick bird.

Why would you take a sick animals medication?

If the ill eagle has a prescription you should let the eagle keep his/her drugs. I would not take drugs from an eagle in need:p

That was almost a quote from Leprechaun...A friend with weed is a friend indeed, but a friend with gold is the best I'm told. (http://www.lepconnie.com/soundclips/lep5e.wav)

Forrest, even you, as a Christian, have to agree here that some people are far too evangelical.

Where is the option for I did at some point but not anymore, and what do you consider illegal drugs? Does drinking underage count?

But yeah I used to a few years ago but not for at least two or three years.

Yeah....I remember it clearly now. Cyrus P Koski called me and asked if I wanted to do a show with him and a friend of his at Fanual Hall, in Boston, fall of '82. I was the great juggler (I didn't uni then), Sem did the great uni, walking all over the wheel. Cyrus had the gig (the performers time slot), and was, in a way, band leader. He could juggle, ride uni, and was a great accordian player.
This was our only show togather, Cyrus's usual partners were away, and we were discussing the lineup. I had a flash of brilliance.
"Cyrus", I said,"I think it's great that I'll do feature juggling while you play accordian, and Sem will do his bit on the uni while you play..... But I have a better idea. Since you can ride the high uni, why don't you ride the high uni and play accordian while Sem and I perform? It will be so dramatic! the crowd will love it. They will all be thrilled at the sight of this great sight. There will be so much more added suspense, people wondering that you don't fall and smash your accordian!"
Sem and Cyrus kind of looked at each other, and then Cyrus looked at me and said, "That's a good idea Matt, but we have the great Sat. time slot, and if we do that, we can only do 2 shows....."
" Why though", I protested!, "it will be such a great act! We could do three shows here at least!" ( I took a toke as I smelled the money in my mind).
"Yeah", said Cyrus,"But I only have 2 accordians!"
At this point we were all laughing silly. I don't really remember if Sem was toking...we would'nt have cared if he was or wasn't. We was all laughing like nuts though. I'm sure me and Cyrus were buzzing, as were most street performers, then as now.
That was the only time I met Sem. Cyrus introduced him to me as the guy who rode this super high uni. He seemed like a nice guy.
Pot smoking was common at the top of juggling and uni circles at that time, as it is now. It seems to bring people involved in these"practice a lot" skills togather.

How would you know this ?.......... How can you make such a bold statement do you know that many top jugglers and unicyclist?

I started street performing as a juggler in New Orleans in 1980. Over the next 15 years I lived and traveled around in a '65 econoline that I modded into a camper. I have done shows in Frisco, Santa Cruz, Boulder (the juggling mecca in the 80's), Madison, Ann Arbour, Halifax, Cambridge Square, Boston, NYC, Atlanta, and well, any place on the way I could gather a crowd. In the winter I would go to N.O. and work Jackson square, or to Key West and do Mallory.
In 94 I bought my home in Key West, and life is to good here. I can live off the rent people pay me. I have grown old and fat. I haven't done a show in years.
I recently took up uni cause I need more exercise, and it seems a lot more fun and challenging then jogging or bikes.
I was one of the few street jugglers that didn't uni. I liked how I could make my living out of a small bag. Dragging around a girrafe all over town seemed like a pain, I could take the subway etc.
In all these travels I met a great many other performers. We share the same spots, and go out and party togather afterward. It was a great life and just writing about it makes me a little sad. You see, it's not the pot that ruined it all. It's the food store with all that beer 2 blocks away. And money, and computors to make me sit here. I miss it now.
Sniff, sniff.... but anyway, I stand by my statement that the vast majority of performers I met, be they uni, jugglers, magicians, or jokers, would smoke pot with me. We had more fun practicing to good tunes while high then without. It's a rythm feeling thing.
In my experiance, crack, heroin, and shit like that was almost unknown. Pot smoking was done more openly in the 80's but remains common now.

I got asked twice today if i had any weed to sell, its getting kind of annoying. funny what people assume when you are the only person in a city of 40,000 with dreadlocks, I didn't even have a unicycle with me.

maybe i should cut my hair...but then it would be short:(
