Hey, can anyone out there give me any advice on turning a one-speed bicycle into
an artisic bike? Is there any cheap and easy way to do this? Is welding required
or is there something else I can use to jam the free-wheel? Is it better to
start with a wheel w/out a coaster brake? I'd kind of like to avoid the obvious
solution of taking the wheel off my giraff uni (as well as the other obvious
solution of buying one of these wheels) I really wasn't interested in artistic
bicycles until this weekend when I got my hands on a Swing Bike. For those of
you that don't remember these contraptions, it is a front and back steering
bike. It has two front forks; one with standard handle bars the other with a
seat. By making it into an artistic bike I imagine it could be ridden forward,
backward, and especially sideways! Thanks in advance, Paul
