Sorry about the day delay. The flip vid is finished. I believe there are 45 flips in this vid. Enjoy.

wow... good stuff. you make it look easy, especially the just the plain old crankflip. do you have to concentrate hard to do a crankflip or is it just second nature now?

Here in the Netherlands we've got some one more: They called the VLA -flips.
A lovely smooth sweet delicious milkdesert that comes in different flavours like: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and even with little chocolate balls.
You really should try them!!!!

Really nice flips in there.

A few I saw coming but a lot I didn't.

I like the runs in the vid, very smooth.

I liked the Fullvarialflip and the 360 varialflip.

Excellent mate, keep it up.

Thanks a lot, good to hear it was enjoyed. Since it's a flipvid it'll get pretty boring pretty quickly, haha. Oh well. I just wanted to see how many more I could learn and perform in little time. The 360 varialflip took awhile to get more than 270 (if you see it's just a bit over since it's perpendicular to the camera, and the camera is off set), but it's only like 15-20 degrees more, oh well. After doing those, normal 360 flips came pretty easily to get enough the way around for it to be smooth (er). I'm glad it was appreciated. The big vid and warmup vids are now started. Kevin will be here in just over 3 hours. There should be a spring break vid too. Hope it's enjoyed.

Cool, who was it? I saw a vid of Loic doing a 360 varial but I don't think there was a flip in it.

Hey Shaun, why did you put in "dc shoes" as tags for the vid? Are you sending it to them or something or was it just random?

what the hell. every trick looks the same, you add the word fakie on it and its the exact same trick

It's not in the frogs movie, I would remember seeing it. Being a sweet trick. Um, if you can't see the difference between the tricks you don't have the eye for it. They are different trust me. They feel way different when being done. Thanks for all the replies, chilling with K.M. is really cool and hopefully banger footage will be thrown down. If I french rider did bust it in frogs that's really rad I would love to see it, I remember first busted that back for the macht nada trailer in march.

-Shaun Johanneson

p.s. The dc shoes thing is for publicity. lol. More people will watch it that way. Get it out of just the uni world.

I just watched the macht nada trailer again and thats cool that you did the 360 varialflip that long ago, its almost exactly a year ago. Thats pretty crazy. I didn't even notice at the time because the trailer is so fast, it looks really cool though.
p.s. The dc shoes thing is for publicity. lol. More people will watch it that way. Get it out of just the uni world.
haha, thats cool. I remember you saying a while ago that eventually you wanted to make a vid to send to a shoe company or something so they know whats up so I just thought of that when I saw the tag.
I wonder if skaters would watch that vid and think its all the same, I think they would understand and respect the blind stuff and the different variations because its a big part of skating too. I am just wondering because if someone cant tell the difference between all the flips then the vid would get boring pretty fast.

Awesome vid Shaun. I love the small lateflip and hick fakiedouble. Those 360flips are nice and smooth as well. This vid gave me heaps of ideas, I've learned like 6 tricks because of it.

I see you've re-named hicks out2in, I like it.

looking forward to flipvid3.

Luke Collalto

ps. what's the grip like on those viscounts? A low profile seat like that would be nice.

Hey,

I'm glad everyone is enjoying the vid. Yeah skaters would be diffenently bored of that one. ha. Oh well. This upcoming one if I get everything I want (The big vid for may) I will send in to some good companies to show them what's up, haha, sort-a-speak. The inflip thing, i don't know, haha, I guess just because it feels different than a hickflip it's different, but I don't really care to call them outflips or inflips, since it could be just hickflips and say what's going on, in2out, or what not. However fulloutflip or 360outflip, is catching on, so if it's unstoppable for the title, so be it, lol. Oh well. Sorry about the stuff I said too Luke, good to hear i've given you some ideas, nothing of which I know you wouldn't have thought for yourself, in fact now I know the next time I see you do any of these tricks, it will just be a much better/harder variation of them, you tend to do that, lol. Oh well, I like feeding off your ability.

-Shaun Johanneson

p.s. Sorry about being a dick lately, i'm happy now, I was just very impatient waiting for spring break.

Very Nice! I esspecially liked the x-up flips, I hadn't seen those before. I can't tell the difference between some of the more complicated varial variations, but all were insane. The regular crankflip looked kind of lame compared to the others. haha.

great tricks!

the vid was good because of all the espectacullar tricks, but I got bored really fast. the video was all about pavement and flips. I couldn`t even see the rider.

you know, you make so many videos. you should get into editing them in a cool way so they get more interesting...

I don't like to dress up my videos. I feel that is for the people that want to spend alittle more time on their computer, and maybe don't have the skill to keep everyone interested. These flip videos are more for timeline purposes. So riders in the future (if youtube is still there) can look back and know the street tricks with flips in them. There was nothing scary in that video, and nothing was really that hard so I don't really expect it to be that great. But oh well. Another thing is I keep the angle on the wheel/uni because that is what is important. A lot of other riders I see not filming their wheel, but the whole rider, than the flip might be missed by wondering eyes, or the camera simply didn't catch the flips and you can't see it anyway. Either way the close angle elimates all problems to see what is going on. All that's there is for the viewer to understand what's going on, which isn't very difficult with alittle practice. Hey I don't mind doing tricks that some people's eyes can't follow ;).
