Since MuniAddict started the "Who loves Brussel Sprouts" thread, I thought I'd start a broccoli thread.

I love it. Especially raw with ranch. But also steamed but slightly crisp.

I still can't forget the episode where Homer choked twice on the same broccoli, one time as his ghost self.

Mmmm!!!

Steamed broccoli is the best, and it has to be smothered in butter or cheese, then a pinch of salt.

Or broccoli and beef, like from panda express or any other chinese/asian restaurants.

Terry, while brussel sprouts are delicious with all that extra stuff, I'm a broccoli purist. Very lightly steamed broccoli with maybe a touch of salt is all you need. And no mushy stuffs, kthxbai.

Raw brocolli is the greatest vegetable...ever. Except for all the other raw vegetables which are equally wonderful.

When I was a child, I was the pickiest eater ever. The only "salad" I would eat was iceberg lettuce... plain... nothing else... but oh, boy, would I chow down on broccoli. I could never get enough of the stuff, and I still can't.

Broccoli, lightly steamed, is divine. For pure bliss, add sauteed garlic, olive oil and a splash of lemon juice.

Perhaps you should stop eating ass. Once you get that taste out of your mouth, get back to us on the broccoli issue. KTHXBYE! ;)

I detest brocolli slightly less so than brussel sprouts.

I love buying a head of cauliflower and a head of broccoli and breaking it up into bite-size bits and mixing it up in a bowl and having that, raw, as a healthy snack while I'm watching telly or doing stuff.
You can also chuck in bits of carrot, cherry tomatoes or those itty bitty corn thingies.
It rocks with beer.

And I love you, Underdog.

Thanks for giving me a compliment to one of my underappreciated creations.
