Well I was just in a camera mood, so I took some pictures of all the snow we have outside. Its been snowing for awhile, and finally quit so I snatched some pics just to show how greatful you guys in California should be. IN some spots the snow is seriously over my head.

I wouldn't mind winter if it were like that...our winters are just a grey slushie mess.

I wish we would either have that much snow, or no snow at all.

Now that is a beautiful sight!!! Sure brings back memories of my childhood in 'da nort' woods. Thanks for posting these.

Love the pic of the house buried in snow with the tiny snow shovel leaning against the garage.
Don't you have a Yooper scooper?

Wow, if your house wasn't so tall it might be buried! What part of MI are you in?
For those of you that don't have to deal with large amounts of snow, sure it's pretty to look at, until you have to move it, drive through it, or otherwise not be cold and wet.
CA weather: Today we had a group of ten at Rockville Hills Park, including our special guest David Wykenberger from Austria! The weather was about 70 degrees f, and it looked like it did in these (older) pictures (http://unicycling.smugmug.com/gallery/551461#22886558), which were taken in Feb. 2005.

It's either Ishpeming or Negaunee, just west of Marquette. Sure is a beautiful area. We vacation in Michigamme, a bit further west of Ishpeming and my wife graduated from college in Marquette.
Musket, how far are you from Teal Lake? There are some mighty fine homes up in the hills behind the lake.
