Adobe after effects!!!!!

I do!! I`m preparing a really "worked on" video.

I`m having a bit of a problem though: my computer is having problems to run adobe premiere (and I can`t find a version that works, not even the adobe trial version), and I just can`t edit in after effects because I want to do a cool edition that goes with the music and I have to render the video every time to listen the music along with the video (is this clear?). And this is just primary to me... I want to do a cool edition that goes with the music.

I`ve always edited in premiere and then added effects and treated the images in after.

A friend of mine told me that is possible to do with after effects, but I don`t know how.


So, do you edit directly in after effects or do you edit with the song in premiere first?
