We are in the beginning stages of planning the first annual Southeast MUni Fest, in Asheville NC, May 4-6 2007. We are planning to correspond with the Mountain Sport Festival that same weekend and having a timed downhill race on Saturday as well as group rides on Friday and Sunday. Depending on interest, we could have trials/ freestyle demo at the festival, there is a hillclimb (for bikes until now) that those of you into road riding could compete in and miles and miles of world-class singletrack.
