Now I don't want to be seen as bitching here, but howcome every time anyone ever comes to the UK they go to London, no offence (to londoners) but i've been to London its nothing special, although it will have a huge amount of places to ride, there are far nicer and cooler places to visit over here.
But whatever enjoy your visit and riding and next you come over explore our little country you'll be surprised in what you can find. :)

I presume its meant to be a negative comment. I'm not having a go at folk really most people who visit our tiny country tend to visit the biggest city first its the easiest and most well known place to go, I just found it to be a bit dissapointing when I did go there. Just a personal view of my own country is all.

I know what you mean. Some times, seeing the most popular, biggest thing isnt the best. Its when you get into the countryside, and into the little towns that is the most fun.
On topic: I have seen some riders in the areas you have mentioned on here, so they should all chime in soon. =p

the -1 was kinda just a joke on all those who say +1 to comments that they agree with, anyway, I think that a tourist would probably have more fun in London than most other places in England...Actually, I personally would prefer to go to a small town, but only because I dislike large cities.

Thankyou for clearing that up, now I know.
Big cities have the advantage of having more spots to session but they also have more security who are all to happy to kick you off so its finding that balance of cool interesting and challenging places to go without being the victim of an over zealous security guard.

London is massive and quite wonderful. I think I'd really love to live there, the cosmopolitinality (sp) makes me go weak at the knees. There are however, loads of very cool places in the rest of the country. Including big cities, so dont be afraid of exploring non-london locations in England!
I think "Londonisation" has been coined by some people for the way practically EVERYTHING big in the country is run from London.
James! You don't even live in England so shurrup ;)!

If you want to play some hockey then the Lunis will be playing tomorrow from 7:30 until 9 at the Westway Sports Centre (London). Map and details of how to get there are here:http://homepage.ntlworld.com/unicycle/LUNIs.html.
If you want to ride trials then send Sponge a PM. I could be up for a muni ride on Sunday somewhere south of London, probably Swinley Forest near Reading, but it would have to be pretty early.
Also you'll probably get more of a response if you post in the RSU forum instead of here.
