i have a chance to sell my 4gig pink ipod mini for 60$ (okish price) and use that money. im not sure whether to seel it or not. If i were to sell it i would use to to go towardes my christmas present. a fullerton 4 string pass with split coil pickups. its only 99$ and not to bad for a begginer. i cant decide if i want to sell my ipod of not.

my personal opinion:
dont sell it, not for that cheap anyway. they do not make the ipod mini anymore and even better there was not as many pink ones made as, say the colour silver or such. Take good care of it and keep it for longer, it is a part of Music history that you have there. In 30 or so years collectors will be after them, they where one of the first easy to use, reliable high capacity Mp3 players. and to top it off they didn't cost you an arm and a leg! check out Ebay, Mini's are going for heaps.

and also, dude, its an Mp3 player? why sell?

lol fair enough, on Australain Ebay they are cranking out for heaps of money especially if there in good condition. Your market is way different to us though :( i would still keep it, its good to have an Mp3 player, you never know when you will need it and it also doubles as a prtable storage device. I sure miss mine. But as i said they dont make them anymore (well not in Australia, you cannot buy them). but if you want the guitar, oh i dont know :(

Personally, I'd sell it for a bass but i dunno.... I'm kind of an ipod hater cuz, (to be blunt) I think they're useless and kind of stupid. So..... I'd go with the bass but it might just be that I hate ipods...

How much do you listen to music might be the determining point. Also, because it's technology after time the value will go up but not enough to make a huge profit and worth holding on to it.

How old is the ipod?
If it's pretty old, like, over a year, then that's a good price and go for it. If it's younger than that, then go for a higher price.

sweet man, as i said, whether you like Ipods or listen to music much or not. What you have there pretty much changed the way the world views portable music devices. It is defianately keeper in my opinion, just make sure you look after it.

There goes $60, a fair price for a Mini in the condition you described. In a couple of years (or less) you'll be able to buy a better player with higher capacity, and no hard drive to break from shocks, for under $60.

If I had a Ipod to listen to, and wanted to actually play music. I would give up the Ipod in a heartbeat.

lol no one went with what i was saying :( i guess playing music is better than being able to listen to it, my values must be all screwed up :s
