Nintendo Wii vs. PS3.

Which would you go for? Remember to keep budget and price in mind with the Wwii at around $250 and the PS3 around $500 for 20gb and $600 for 40 gb.

You can find information about both of them at these links. Both look really cool but with budget and what I would like would probably be the Wii.

I think the Wii is better because of it's different controls and I think for this console Nintendo realized that it's more about playing the actual game rather than the game it's self. I could see myself having a lot more fun with the Wii than the PS3.

i think the wii will be more fun, maby not as powerful of the ps3 but much more fun

and difinitly Wii for me because nintendo is superior! id rather play my gamecube orthen my xbox or PS2 so it probably works the same with Wii Xbox 360 and PS3

I havent played video games seriously since getting into unicycling. But if i had to choose one id get the Wii because it doesnt cost more than a KH 07 and looks fun. Also i like all of the nintendo series games like Zelda.

i'd go with neither. i think it's better 2 have PC games cause of the games being slightly cheaper. For X-Box the games are like $80+ same 4 a PS2 unless the games become platinum. Where a PC game is like $50-70. But if i had to choose i would say Wii. Nintendo being around for ages now and the games they're are going to bring out are crazy. But that's me hahahaha :D :D :D

well... i'd go for the new kentsfield 6700 quad core with 4gb of DDRII 8400 and two 8800GTX in SLI and a nice 1kw PSU and a SCSI 15k raid 5.

actually the wii looks really good :D but my friends getting it, so i'll just play it roudn hus house abit and carry on not gaming much LOL

with nitendo it's usually always new versions of mario smash bros and pokeymon

in other words there just going to be replacing really outdated games with relly outdated games that have better graphics

Dont really play games that often at all, havnt owned a gaming console for like too many years to count. I have seen the PS3 graphics and they look awesome. Dont really know much about the nintendo except for the motion sensitive controllers. Probably stick with the PS3 and buy it in like 3 years when they have dropped from 600 to like 250 bucks. lol o well

Ill always say a pc is better for gaming then any console, and even with the new consoles, the seem more like a computer than a console.

Even back when ps2 and dreamcast were coming out, I just stuck to my pc, and if I want to play playstation games or xbox, I just used emulators and ISOs, and they always played smoother on my comp then on the original system.

I dont know what to chose for this though, that advertisement definitely had me going for the Wii, and plus, the PS3 has already caused deaths, hospitalized people, and riots.

I'm really looking forward to when one of my friends siblings gets a Wii for Christmas. I don't play consoles when I'm alone so I never use them enough to be worth the price, but thankfully my friends have younger siblings who love them. I really look forward to playing the wii, it looks like alot of fun to be having with friends, although hanging out on the couch sitting around can be fun I think the games like Wii sports, and Wario will be pretty awesome. Plus PS3 doesn't have smash brothers.

Hmm, if I was going to buy a console, it would be the Wii. Why? I don't care all that much about graphics. I would rather have something that was fun. The Wii looks very fun. Kudos to Nintendo for being the only major gaming company to try something different. I also think that the Wii encourages some sort of activity. It might not be too much, but it's better than just sitting on the couch.

Wii looks cool, PS3 looks cool. Wii is more innovative and looks more fun. PS3 has better graphics, but isn't all that new compared to the PS2/Xbox. Wii is also less than half the price.

That's probably why I only over buy nintendo stuff. They do a good job of coming out with clever new gaming devices, although not all (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_boy) of their products are a huge success. The motion control for the Wii is the next coolest thing to come out since the gameboy (but I'll probably just stick with Tetris anyway).


Besides, Sony sucks. You can't take it off big drops at all.

I lucked out and snagged a PS3 online, I won't be receiveing it fro another week though. My intent though is to re-sell it on eBay and make enough profit to buy a Wii!

So hopefully in about 2 weeks I'll have a Wii.
