Well, ducklings rather.

My mum found them on the side of the road, their mother was hit by a car and by the time my mum could get back to pick them up most of hem were gone.

Here's a picture of them on my desktop

Is it legal to have wild ducks even if they're abandoned?
Might want to ask a rescue shelter what to do.

hmm
my friend and I used to go to the pond behind our house and catch baby ducks, its super hard, those little guys can zip around like fish underwater. The coolest thing is that when you leave their mom comes back :)
so i can hunt them once season starts :)

Good idea. Most of the time wild animals require different care then domestic animals...

CRAP!

I took hem outside for a few minutes, so they could get fresh air and all that. I'm now down one duck!

I've got no idea where it could've gone, I checked under my house and everything. I'm gonna go look some more.

Such a rule would also be to keep people from domesticating wild animals or raiding the local pond out of season for their personal duck habitat or their Peking Duck dinner.

I don't know quack about the laws in Australia, but best to find out before you get into potential trouble.

heh.. computer bird. ayy? :D

heh.. yeah you can cut me some slack, I rode my uni 107 km today as well.

Keven (and others), a while ago I found some random ducks just sitting in a lagoon, so naturally, I took them home. We kept them in this massive cage with chicken wire on the edges. And they just sorta.. managed to slowly get away but we couldn't work out how.

My conclusion is that ducks are super-intelligent beings sent from planet Quackz0r 7 to prevent the human race from superseeding without Ed.. again. And also they have big awesome ray guns that make people melt and junk like that.

It's a bugger about the other duck :(

Cheer up Keven, you'll find another chick. heh.. wow.. I should really ride less.

Those are quite possibly two of the cutest animals ever.

However, I don't even you when they grow up and refuse to stop quacking.

When I lived in Hawaii, we had two grown ducks that would visit my house every day for some bread crumblings or whatever. Named them Fred and Wilma after the Flinstones, and they shat all over our yard...

Chukkar season opened this weekend. Pa-Pow

I found 2 abondoned baby kittens in my shed once. They were in there for a couple days screaming constantly, and I finally got them out assuming the mother had been either killed or abondoned them. They looked pretty malnourished, so we took care of them for about a week before handing them off to an animal shelter. I was pretty attached to them before giving them away, so that sucked.
