I've started noticing that a LOT of people don't place their spot on the map. I think some may not know of its existence so maybe if you did a little news thing about the map again it would help thanks.

I agree and it is a great place for unicyclists to meet other unicyclists

I agree that more people should know about the map, and some instructions on how to add onesself. It would be nice to be able to have a default view that would encompass ones local vicinity so the relevant local people could be found easier.

Perhaps we could try to standardize on how locations are listed. So that can be searched. Some people enter the state "North Carolina" as "NC" or "N.C.", which makes a search difficult. Same goes for listing cities/towns in other countries.
