I'd wanna be Homer Simpson or Peter Griffin, simply because they're stupid, fat and loveable. Just like me d^.^b
I could say something very blasphemistic right now. But I won't.
But I could.

peter pan if i was a boy
Peter Pan is routinely played by a woman: Maude Adams, Mary Martin, and Sandy Duncan. No problem wanting to be Peter. :) The album of the Mary Martin production was a staple in my house when I was a kid.
Truth is she's not a fictional character so doesn't count here, but I'd have given anything to have been Janis Joplin. :)

Jubal Harshaw from Stranger in a Strange Land (http://www.wegrokit.com/stranger_in_a_strange_land.htm). However, I may change my mind later and opt for superpowers, space travel, or immortality.

Mycroft the computer from "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" or Minerva the computer from "Time Enough for Love". I can only dream of having their perfect knowledge of all rules of grammar and composition, and full access to all of history's dictionaries.
I guess I'll pick Minerva, since she gets to grow up and become a Real Girl.

Uh...I really don't know...I could be Nancy Drew, she ages 3 years in 100+ books and 75 actual years, goes everywhere with skirts(in the original 1930's books) and never has to solve a cold case...it seems there aren't any, and there aren't a lot of negative problems...could be.

I'd like to be the person I've always pretended to be.Yoopers?
Yoopers is a fictional character? Shoot, there goes my reality. If there's no Yoopers, what can you believe in?
I was more referring to the charming and hip person I like to believe I am but my children often remind me (and prove) that I'm wrong.

Ain't it the truth. Children come pre-programmed with parent-humbling software v. 1.
And they get all the upgrades as they get older.

Something almost hit me this morning and I thought about this. If I were a fictional character I would be a woman that could drive a SUV, talk on the cell phone, put on make-up, change clothes, use a turn signal, us my mirrors and check my blind spots all while driving perfectly. I know that's kinda far out but that's what I would be.

:)
(But to be fair, I wouldn't single-out women. There are plenty of bad drivers out there, gender notwithstanding. What about a guy who could talk on the cell phone, put on makeup, ... wait, nevermind.)
