Alex Toms and Dan Cowling are like two super duper awsomist riders... I have no idea were these people live though.

Here's (http://www.unicyclist.com/gallery/?g2_itemId=163689) a good movie those two made.

Plus all the victorians:
Myself, president_luke, edsbelly etc.

Tomsey and dan cowling are from nsw. Maybe you could catch up with them. Unfortunately they dont post here much so i dont know how long it will be before you get in contact with them.

Cheers,
Max

SURE DO DAVE. And yes we unicycle in NSW too. I Dig Unicycling. I started unicycle riding when I was 27years old and still riding today. I'm now 40 years old and have some young friends about 16 to 25 years age bracket and get on well enough. I have other friends in my age bracket between 25 to 75years of age. It's a fact actually. I have at least of 50 friends and that's a lot.

I dunno about that mate,
Sydney has a LOT of riders. A really good hockey team too.

In melbourne there is a group of up to 20, maybe even 30 riders who meet once a month.

there's loads of brisbane riders too, tiz cool.

tomtrevor
2006-09-15, 12:15 PM
yea, there is like millions of Brisbiani (i dunno) riders!

Andrew Carter is probably the best of them all though.

iridemymuni
2006-09-15, 12:16 PM
brisbanian?

andrew carter counts as like a bazillion.

there are loads of new riders too, it's really growing

tomtrevor
2006-09-15, 12:17 PM
Yea, most of them do Muni though. not many freestyle type riders up here.

max_pfeifer
2006-09-15, 12:58 PM
Andrew hardly rides anymore so he doesnt count.

Sydney has tomsey and dan.

Melbourne has Luke collato (president_luke) who is probably the second best flip-tricker in australia after tomsey.

I just do normal riding just Street & Trials riding. I have got 2x Chrome 20" Wheel Unicycles. One I bought at Juggleart Warehouse in 1993 and the other at a garage sale which I bought the cheapest at $10.00. I nearly bought a giraffe but someone bought it quickly before me. I not quite GUN at the sport at the moment but I can ride mean. Hey don't let the age worry you and Well see what we can organzie a ride one day or in the future. Cheers Mate.

Hopefully the more Aussie riders there are, the more likely we are to get a Unicon or some other international event!

max_pfeifer
2006-09-16, 05:22 AM
Yeah the unicon after the next one is proposed for darwin. It would be better in sydney or melbourne though because thats where the majority of the riders are and thats where all the international flights come in.

Also UDC australia is in Melbourne.

iridemymuni

There is a huge unicycling scene in darwin. just not so much street/trials stuff. I know a few darwin riders but they dont post here.

They chose darwin cos they proved they could do it at uninats last year which was fantastic. The people who organised uninats, the australian unicycle society, would also organise unicon.

As i said in a previous post, nothing is concrete yet, it is still only the proposed location.

Cheers,
Max

True. They get some of the flights from Japan and sout-east asia, but melbourne and sydney get most of the ones from europe and USA and stuff. I reckon it should be in sydney, which is where uninats are gonna be next year.

2006-09-18, 09:15 AM

iridemymuni
2006-09-18, 10:26 AM
a guy with the last name adams who's the brother of a chick from msm.

it isn't adam, it's a different guy. i dunno who he is or if he takes it seriously.

i also knwo of another guy, his mum ran up to me while i was riding and told me how she bought him a $150 learners unicycle. she was trying to boast about how expensive it was. i was laughing it was like NOR crap unicycle.

iridemymuni
2006-09-18, 10:33 AM

he hasn't really advertised it to the public has he?

tomtrevor
2006-09-18, 10:34 AM
no not really. lets make up posters and put them aroudn school with our names written on it!

iridemymuni
2006-09-18, 10:38 AM
let's go get run over by a truck!

it's virtually the same thing

tomtrevor
2006-09-18, 10:40 AM

iridemymuni
2006-09-18, 10:42 AM

tomtrevor
2006-09-18, 10:43 AM

tomtrevor
2006-09-18, 10:56 AM

max_pfeifer
2006-09-19, 07:37 AM
this is rediculous.

Are all of the 100 competitors unicyclists? thats pretty good if they are.

Do all the people you named ride street?

I know wayne van wijk doesnt but the others?

Cheers,
Max

tomtrevor
2006-09-19, 08:52 AM
