painting uni

what all do I need to have to paint my uni. also what all do I need to do to paint my uni. Third is what type of paint is best. next is should I buy the frame painted black or chrome since I will be painting it a different color then black. ok I think that is all my questions about it for now thanks

welll..... i recently painted mine, i used spray paitn and i did way too many coats, so probably 5 or 6 extremely light coats, but first do a few coats of primer, then put on a few light coats of clear. i dont know if this is right, but this is what i did and my uni looks great, (i used shiny spraypaint)
