the wiggles on UNICYCLES???

Sometime during last week my little sister came to me and said "unicycle unicycle unicycle!" So she pulled me into the lounge room nd on tv was the wiggles with the pirate dude riding a unicycle.:eek: It was just a jugglebug but i think it was supposed to show the dude had crashed his bike and was left with one wheel hence the unicycle:confused:

there was a special edition episode of the simpsons, where when they sit down, (as there are always strange things during this part) among other things, a juggling unicyclist quickly enters and leaves the picture.

and thers another episode where homer says to bart : "just come inside and put that (something or other) in your closet next to the pogostick, guitar and unicycle, and give up.

My daughter has a Wiggles DVD. One of the most hilarious moments I've had after a couple of drinks with some similarly merry adults was watching the Wiggles do a number called "I am a dancer".

It doesn't matter how much we laugh at them though, they are laughing all the way to the bank - they are worth millions.

Quite impressed the pirate can unicycle though...

the wiggles are a group of men (aged about 25-30?) who do a childrens tv show involving singing, dancing, and of course, puppets. i doubt they are available in the UK

i think they are way over their 30's now, they've been performing for as long as i can remember.

they make LOADS of money, in 2005 they grossed more than AC/DC and Nicole Kidman combined!

When my kid was 5 or 6 we got tickets to see Barney at Radio City Musical Hall. The Wiggles were the opening act - think REO Speedwagon to Blue Oyster Cult. I unfortunately got the flu and had to miss the show.

In one episode of futurama, when they are in the sewer for some reason, seeing the mutants i think, bender has to walk across a very narrow beam very high up and he says something along the lines of "Wow, this will be hard, I need to be really careful" i don't really know what he said, but that's what i'd say, anyway, he pulls a unicycle out of his compartment and rides it across this beam, it's pretty cool :p

Rididng a unicycle doesn't make the wiggles any better.At least, not to me, it doesn't.After all, it's just one uni.There are many more to be the "chosen uni" or "cleanest uni" or "-est uni," right?Hey, just plain curiosity, how many other famous people can ride?From TV?So far, I only know a three:
~Steve-O, from Jackass(I don't think he's too advanced though, either that or he's nervous)
~Adam, from Mythbusters(I dnever saw him do that, but I've been told he did)
~Captain Feathersword(or whoever rides) from The Wiggles.

yeh most of the wiggles were part of the band known as the cockroaches. i dont think wags was one but the producer the purple guy and the blue guy were in it. I saw it on an episode of twenty to one or a current affair cant remember which one, or both :s

I forgot what i was trying to say...unicycling was also on TV when Birsbane extra did a small segment on 3 unicycling/clown brothers.

It made me happy seeing that :)
