I know that, being an atheist, I shouldn't be posting on this thread but I'm getting fed up with your "uni for Christ", "street perform for Christ"...
What's next?... "shopping for Christ"? "go to school for Christ"?, "Eat taccos for Christ"? "Crotch my nose for Christ"? "Pollute Unicyclist.com for Christ"?...

Pollution is in the eye of the beholder. I hate the gay marriage issue. Why does it have to appear here? I don't juggle (yet), do I really have to put up with all the talk about juggling? Bicycles? Yuck! Isn't this supposed to be a unicycle forum? Or is this particular corner of the forum called Just Conversation?
In this particular case, Lucky didn't even ask for discussion, only for folks to send him PM's.
This is getting kind of rediculous.
If people want to create shitloads of threads about __________ for christ, maybe you guys ahould start a forum where you can do that an not be harrassed.

in both case we're a bit put off by something which is outside our preoccupations. And we may even think the "other" topic is using too mcuh space.
So the good thing is that we are not going to avoid controversy but each defender a a cultural topic should realise that just raising up the question may be very strange to other people.
I once equated the religion-is-everything attitude with the sex-is-everything and got stunned responses: the one-world media is both rich and hard. Each one of us should realise nothing is granted so you are right the P.M attitude in that case was ok.

don't pm me because i'm going to stop street performing and just ride my unicycle instead. i don't ever have any time to perform anyways. sorry for making this thread but i just desided i wanted to stop a few minutes ago when i was thinking about what i do and not having enough time to perform in between that time.
What's next?... "shopping for Christ"? "go to school for Christ"?, "Eat taccos for Christ"? "Crotch my nose for Christ"?
Apologies for continuing the divergence from the topic, but how does one "crotch ones nose"? Is it legal to do it in public? Or is this one of those "cultural differences" things again?

Pollution is in the eye of the beholder.Ouch! I'm eye sensitive:o Isn't this supposed to be a unicycle forum? Or is this particular corner of the forum called Just Conversation?
In this particular case, Lucky didn't even ask for discussion, only for folks to send him PM's.You're right Yoopers, and I knew my post could be seen as intolerant... Maybe I am:(
And It's also true that Lucky's thread wasn't the most "offensive", but hey, you know, I'm human and just wanted to know when all this would come to end. I'm a late rider on the path to wisdom ('still wonder if my map is true BTW):( .
my post was half serious, half sarcastic and half angry (doesn't mean it was 1.5 worth a "standard post";) )
EDIT:
how does one "crotch ones nose"? Is it legal to do it in public? Or is this one of those "cultural differences" things again?Oups! Typo (mixed with lack of vocabulary:( ) ! I meant Scrotch...

Bumping to page 1, so we can have all Christ threads, all the time.
That would be a very intelligent thing to do now wouldn't it?

Dang...I've looked and looked, and I can't find the exact verse, but in the bible (which is our holy book, thus we want to follow it) it says something to the effect of: whatever you do, do it for the Lord. This means you should do everything to honor and bring glory to God. Thus, if we want to shop, street perform, unicycle, juggle, do magic, make stupid jokes, put pointless thread after pointless thread on the forums, pogostick, yo-yo, skydive, or do the hokey-pokey with waffles glued to your feet, we are going to do it to honor Him.
