I was in Wales for a week a few years ago with my grandmother. She grew up in Tumble (outside Llanelli) after fleeing London during the war. We stayed with one of her childhood friends (who she still talks to!) whose husband happened to have a unicycle in the basement. He couldn't ride it, but I could. Unfortunately it rained the entire week so I didn't get out on the unicycle much.

I have also unicycled in England. I was with my grandmother in Bath doing the typical touristy thing when I saw someone "busking" on a uni. I waited until he finished his routine and then while he was taking a break asked him if I could try. He happily obliged and was suprised to see me freemount and start idling/riding around.
