Ok, for some reason, my BSplayer is just not working at all, for audio or video (I have to manually end the program), and my WMP isn't playing any AVIs or WAVs, and i dunno why.

Does anyone know of a trusty, free, all-in-one codec pack to solve these problems?

Try reinstalling Windows Media Player (I assume you're running Windows?) Failing that, I dunno... WMP usually finds codecs no problem, except for the Divx codec...

Another option is to reinstall DirectX (http://www.microsoft.com/directx/) again. DirectX installs a bunch of codecs and reinstalling can fix up broken settings for those codecs.
