Dear brother gave me John Coltrane's "The Complte 1961 Village Vanguard Recordings" box set. Finally got around to ripping and listening to them. Halfway through disc 3 of the 4. I bought this album on cassette tape in about 1977, and it was probably the first album I ever bought. Lost the tapes years ago, and have searched the internet for a copy. A year or so ago I tracked a vinyl copy down, and it arrived broken in the mail. Got another which arrived yesterday.

And I can remember nearly all the words of every song.

Bill Haley: one of the pioneers, one of the greats, and often forgotten in the shadows of the various other kings of rock and roll. I wish I'd had chance to see him live.

You rode the unicycle through a puddle - the first step into serious off roading there...:cool:

But what we all want to know is how you do that trick where you're riding along and you disappear and then reappear about 3 pedal strokes further on. That would be so useful on some of our local trails.:D

A little back ground on this one. It is from the movie "Once", starring only 2 actors, with no previous acting experience. Filmed by 1 camera man who doubled as director, writer and producer. It is being sung by the 2 people who wrote it.

After they won the people's choice award at Sun dance film festival, they got a distributor and the film was nominated for an Oscar. They won for best original song in a movie.
