Flash flood in Reno today. I've been up for a few hours busting my ass in the freezing rain digging a trench so my house wont flood. My trampoline nearly impaled me when it flew into the airand landed 30 feet away. Reno is like... shut down. Between fire, snow, and rain I just cant get a break. My backyard doesnt look like much, but it's draining... I've seen footage of horses with water up to their butts. Here's the tranch, it's about 2-3 feet deep.

Thats not trench bro, thats a freakin moat!

Now all you need is to get a drawbridge and some gators and you'll have your self one crunked out crib.

dude, it was like that down in downtown truckee yesterday.
We didn't have nearly as much of a flood as you did, but i heard about how reno was getting.
Seriously, though, that IS a moat! If you could rig it a little deeper and wider, you'd have "Castle Catboy!" I can't find anywhere to buy gators or crocs, though...
maybe you'd settle for a couple of snapping turtles?

It's all drained out of the yard by now, but there are still area in Reno having to deal with flood damage.

I don't go back to school for a whole 'nother week.

our school district sucks at judging when to take snow/off days.
They'd make us go if there was three inches of water on the floor of the school. "Kids don't need a dry floor to learn!" psh...

I'll trade you four (count 'em, 4) homegrown Florida Alligators for a meager acre of land on a mountain. How's that sound? You can do whatever you want with 'em; cook the tail, train 'em to dance, teach them to (or not to) attack, or whatever else your cat-loving mind can think of!

But beware, gators consider felines to be a rare delicacy, and domesticated felines are easier to catch than their bobcat cousins.
