Is there any way to read my "sent PMs"?

yep, go to your PM inbox, and there's a dropdown menu right at the top where you can either choose Inbox, or Sent Items.

Go into your private messages and then at the top there should be a "Folders control" box where you can then select your "sent" folder and click the go button.
