I'm slowly learning how to be a clown just by going to the library and finding circus books and all that and the internet has some cool circus stuff. i wanna go to cirkids but its WAY to expensive for my budget since i have to pay for it....(no ones pays for my interests :( )

I can unicycle juggle and make balloon animals(simple ones). But when someone says im training for the circus or that i am a clown, I hate it.

I can juggle but nothing fancy but i am learning clubs,i can unicycle and ride my giraffe,walk on stilts and the BIG ones,somewhat walk on my hands for a while,balloon animals (not to good ones),and i'm really good ot tightrope walking.....so is my sister and dad....we have like a cable going in our backyard and a big log going over a ditch......ITS ALL GOOD!

my dad is a clown. or at least he used to be. he stil is on the side. he juggles and does mroe than just little kid magic. he can do slight of hand like a...machine?

anyways lol im not really a clown for hire, but i have ridden in a clown outfit. that was before i took up freestyle more seriously though, now i leave the clowing to the professionals.

I'm no fan of clowns and do have an I hate clowns (http://www.ihateclowns.com) T-shirt that I occasionally wear. The reason I don't like clowns is that it is commonly correlated with unicycling, though that is changing. I know there are people here that are clowns and I'll respect them, and of course i don't expect them to participate in this thread. I think that clowns typically have a good intent, being that of entertaining children. I may not agree with that method, you may not agree with that method, but it just may have some effect on bringing joy/happiness to children. Hopefully, more good is accomplished than bad.

I'm not a clown, but I play one in my avatar. The clown has a higher purpose, bigger intent than just entertaining children. Sure, there are some that do that for a living, working the b-day party circuit, etc., but there are also those that operate at a more sophisticated level. And historically, the clown's target hasn't been children, it's been Authority. The Shakespearean "fool" is the classic example. Saying the things the Authority doesn't want to hear, and getting away with it because the message is wrapped up in giant polka dots.

clowns, I hate...circus entertainers who actually do stuff, are awesome. unfortunately, I am neither of the above.
