My present pedals are a completely different shape to when I got them (they've lost about half an inch off their ends, crappy plastic pedals), haven't broken them yet though. Gimmie a couple more months, maybe :P

I wanted to vote 6-sets10 because it doesn't make any sense. I like that. But I've trashed four pair so far and that option was available. I had to select it because I am scrupulously honest.

All of my pedal breakage has been due to breaking the bearings. I haven't managed to break a pedal body yet or a spindle. I managed to break the bearings in one in such a way that it could not be repaired. Other pedals have been retired due to expected wear and tear. No spectacular pedal destruction other than blowing bearings apart.

haven't actually broken a set yet, but one set is clicking, and the other I am certain will break if I jump on them much more.

None, but my pedal wrecked my crank so I had to buy a new one. Somehow the threads got crossthreaded and the pedal wouldn't tighten.

Actually have not broken any. It's more like I wore out one. One of the pedals on my original Schwinn just fell apart one day when I was riding.
