theotherguy
2005-11-10, 02:05 AM
does anyone know the answer to THAT question?
vogonpoet
2005-11-10, 02:57 AM
Well, since "tree" is a four letter word, maybe the square root of it would just be tr? Or, since "tree" is close to three, maybe the square root is around 1.7?
THE dave
2005-11-10, 03:18 AM
why dosnt the square root of a tree= branch?

What would you consider a great height for a pea? How would a pea ascend to such a height? Would they still be frozen upon impact or would it be of such height that they would burn upon reentry? Do you want fries with that?
Sorry, did you say something?

habbywall
2005-12-10, 03:19 AM
what is sic?
Miss Ayelery
2005-12-10, 07:25 AM
what is sic?
According to Wikipedia, it is this:
Sic (Latin), [sic] representing "thus" or "as it is written here". This is often a short-hand indicating that a quoted source contains an error. For example, "I’ve missssppellled this" becomes "I’ve missssppellled [sic] this", when quoted by a later author who sees the spelling error and wishes to indicate that the source material contained the error, i.e. it was not introduced by the quoting author. However, correctly used, sic indicates only that the source is accurately shown, regardless of how wrong it may appear, and does not have to indicate an error at all.
In the case of tomblackwood's response to you dear, I believe there was an accurate indication of an error. "Reliaze" is not a word.
