Okay I am selling my '03 KH hub and crank set. I decided to make another thread because I felt like it and I have pics this time. Again no bends or cracks just a little surface rust. I'm thinking $100 - $110, with negotiability. Feel free to ask questions.
Pics are here: http://gallery.unicyclist.com/album635

Are you saying $100 is reasonable or no. I'd sell them for cheaper but the helicoil thing costs money, and I'd like to make a reasonable profit.
David
Edit: $100 CAD is $80 USD.

man look at all that rust!
i know its mostly surface rust but jebus, you sould grease that thing if your going to ride in the rain that much.
im willing to bet the bearings are almost shot if there is rust like that on the outside alone.

Just run a wire brush over it a couple times, then put 2 coats of clear coat on the out side and that sould do it nicly

$60, is the new price. The rust really isn't a issue. If you care that much i'll remove it otherwise I won't.

ok the picture discription you have here (http://gallery.unicyclist.com/album635/000_0316?full=1) says " Both pedal threads professionally replaced by Darren Bedford himself. "
but in your 1st thread here (http://www.unicyclist.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=40010&highlight=kh) it contradicts that and says "I got them both professionally fixed with helicoils, one by Darren Bedford and one by a local bike shop mechanic. "
which is it?

When I said Darren did one and the bike shop guy did one the second one was in the shop getting done, but the guy then told me he couldn't do it. So I was going to ship it to Darren. But he actually has one left over from another set that he is going to sell me. Its gonna cost $45, so I'll make a $15 profit, oh well. So you get the hub, one redone left crank (professionally done by Darren I might add), and one old, but still new right crank. I can throw in the stripped one if you like as well. For an extra $5.
I can:
1) Send my stuff to Darren, then get him to send it onward. 2) Send my stuff to you, and get him to send his crank to you. 3) Get him to send it here, then send it all to you.
I would have had it done before but I wasn't going to put money into it if I wasn't go to sell it. Thank you for your interest, and if you are still interested just say so and I will send my address.
