On Saturday, June 4th I'll be riding my unicycle 32 miles in the annual American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure held in Morristown, NJ.
The ride is primarily for bicycles but I'll be riding my 28" unicycle. If your interested you can view my Tour de Cure webpage at:

As far as I know I'll be the only unicyclist in the ride so it should be pretty cool.

I completed the ride yesterday and as it turns out due to a poorly marked course I made a wrong turn which caused me to ride 6.3 miles extra. The total mileage for the day was just over 36. It was a rainy and humid morning and I found the ride to be a difficult one mainly because all the major hill climbs were in the latter miles of the ride. In these latter miles the 3 rides that went out (10, 30 and 65 miles) all converged. On the last several hill climbs I was passing many of the folks on bicycles.
All-in-all it was a good day and I raised about $1,600 for the American Diabetes Association. It was a big challenge for me as it was about 6 miles longer than my longest ride to date.
I had fun at the finish line where I was treated with celebrity status as I was the only unicycle in the ride and the odds were agains me that I'd actually finish.
