Last night our cat who's only quite little herself, gave birth to 3 kittens. So my brother and I spent most of the evening being feline midwives. I enjoyed the fact that her waters broke on my brothers leg...hahaha. The kittens are very sweet. There's one black one, one ginger one and one grey runty one (Tony Blair, Charles Kennedy and Michael Howard...topical kittens). We'v decided to rename the mummy cat Charmaine in honour of her chav teenage pregnancy ways...The hussy. She's a very affectionate little cat though and seems to be making a good mum so all is well. I'll post some photos at some point soon.

Our cat, Claire, is pretty much a slut who has serviced the entire neighborhood. She's had 13 kittens in three litters. Cats are good mommies. Claire taught the kittens how to play with the dogs.

Pics will be up as soon as I can talk to my sis for more than 5 minutes...She has a new boyfriend so haven't seen much of her recently and she's the one with the digi camera.

Going purely on physical appearance Mr Howard is definitely more runty and grey than Blair.

Mr Howards going to be standing down as leader of the conservatives soon...Huzzah! Those Torys are doing really well recently. I think they've had 4 leaders in 4 years now. Each one more of a prat than the last. I would have actually cried had Howard got in. He made a crap home secretary and would've made a worse PM. Although you must give him credit for somehow managing to get himself quite an attractive wife....God knows how he managed that.

Gosh that was a tangent and a half....Er yeah, kittens they're ace.

The kittens are good. One's got it's eyes open and another has nearly. I still haven't gotten round to getting any batteries for the camera...One day I shall...I promise.

Start my new job in half an hour...wish me luck.

I've finally got round to getting some pictures of the kittens uploaded to the gallery.

We had a bit of a drama with one of them the other day. My mum had a few of her work colleagues round at the house after they'd been for a meal. At the end of the evening one of her colleagues (colleague, not friend!) walked out of the house and went home with Orlando, our ginger kitten. Catnapping moose! We phoned her the next day and got her to bring him back. However, being the silly moose that she is she brought her young daughter with her in order to lay a guilt trip on us. We didn't stand for any of it. If she doesn't want her daghter to be upset she shouldn't go about stealing kittens which aren't weaned and giving them to her daughter. I have very little time for that woman now...She's a neurotic idiot.

Anyway, all is now well, kitten and mum cat are reunited.

I've also posted up some pictures from Glastonbury and a few from the solstice. Enjoy.

the pics are in the 2 untitled albums at the bottom.

I lied about the solstice pics...I've not uploaded them yet. Might get round to it this evening.

They are luvverly. I'm going to miss them much.

As for the dayglo lycra...Erm, Glastonbury silliness is the answer to that one.

We went out in those outfits again last night for my farewell soiree. This time we were in local northern pubs though...I didn't get beaten up though so all is well. There's something masively liberating about gadding about in lycra in your home town...Most people in Macc simply don't understand the delights of dayglo lycra. 'twere a funny night!

from what u've told us of macclesfield, i'm surprised u didn't get beaten up for using words like 'soiree'...

Man, they're some cute kittens!

Maybe when they're old they'll look like my cat.

He's 15, got a dodgy bent ear from fighting, and one of his fangs always sticks out! He spends most of his time sleeping in front of the fire these days. Altho he does still rule my parents house, which has a crazy young border collie, and a smaller, younger cat. He takes no sh*t from anyone.

I never saw him as a kitten tho, he was always huge! We got him from a farm where he had housetrained himself and was living in an old lada estate car.

Aye, cats rule and kittens even more so cos they turn out like this.

I got a little bugger that looked just like the orange one when she was little. They can be quite mischevious.

Those are really some fantastic pictures. What kind of camera did you use?
