So lately I've gone Nintendo crazy, and decided to draw a Mario Toad, but it turned out so good I thought I'd share it! Here it is....

Nice try, but Toad's proportions are wrong, as well as with th dots. When dealing with Nintendo be prepared for alot of gamer's with criticism.

i love Toad, his playable debut in SMB2 was the hightlight of that game for me. Toadlette is cool too.

in SMB1 i was like who the hell is that guy giving me the bad news after every castle? now we all know.

Speaking of Nintendo, I just beat the Bianco Hills area on Super Mario Sunshine! Yay! I also just completed the first level of the Harbor (I forgot the name of it). Here is a drawing I did of Mario and Luigi. Mario is drawn after what he looks like in Paper Mario 2.

I'm a semi-hardcore gamer. I'm into the platformers like Mario Sunshine, Wario World, Tak 2, and Zelda: Wind Waker and I also like racing games like Need 4 Speed Underground, Crazy Taxi, and others. For the PC I like First Person Shooters like Call of Duty: United Offencive (beat it), Call of Duty (beat it), Rainbow 6 Raven Shield, Doom 3, and Far Cry. You can also tell I'm a gamer by my signature! Here is my collection:

gaaah all that new age mario whanot is just fooey... you need but 3 games Super Mario Allstars (1,2,3) Super mario brothers, Super Mario 64, anything after that isnt good.... In my humble opinion...

You are correct - all though I didn't think 64 was all the great either. Mario should be in 2D.

2D is cool, but then he wouldn't be keeping up with the new tech that everyone loves and might be left in the dust by 3D game buffs.

only the 8-bit mario platorm games were good. with SMB3 being the clear winner. that said i can beat SMB1 in under 8 minutes. record is 7:15 or so. supposed physical limit is about 6:30.

I dunno, I think the 3D Mario stuff is awesome. I played Mario64 DS today on my friends Nintendo DS, and fell in love with the gameplay. Yeah sure, Mario in 2D can be fun, but I like the 3D stuff better.

Congrats to you, too, DK! ;) Anyway, for those of you who think the Gamecube is for lil kids, I still think it has some pretty hot "non-kiddish" titles. I personally think adults like Mario and Zelda almost as much as kids in some cases, anyways. :rolleyes:

Game cube straight sucks, I said it SUCKS! Especially what hte did to Zelda YOU BASTARDS! Why on earth would hte cell shade it when they made n64 zelda in 3d, that was awsome, a brake through, when they trashed it with gamecube in ready to go kill me some game designen asians!

On a lighter note, XBOX RULES, Halo is awsome, Mario was good, till gamecube got its hands on it!

Gamecube does not suck, I remember back before it was even in prototype form and called "Project Dolphin" I was sooooo excited to hear about it, and it didn't let me down a bit, sure there are a few things people don't like with it, but Xbox and PS2 both have things that could be better. The GameCube is a gamers machine, meant for gaming audiences, and a vast majority of that audience is children, so of course some of the design and creation takes that into consideration. After owning all three major systems(GC Xbox and PS2) for more than a year each, i can safely say that neither of the 3 machines are outstandingly better than the other, The systems themselves are great, and not a problem with it. I think where you get off is by judging a system by it's games. It shows how little of a true gamer you are...
Wind Waker wasn't a bad game at all, it well lived up to the Zelda dynasty, the cellshading was cool. Sure, it wouldnt be great for the next Zelda games, but I take it you haven't seen the preview for the new Zelda game. Mario Sunshie was excellent, and should not be dissed apon, I loved it, a great all around game.

Halo is just popular because it is one of the fewer good games for Xbox. Xbox is the best system, as far as hardware goes, but doesn't have a ton of games to go behind it, Halo was one of the few that were/are good, thats why it gets so much attention and is synonymous with the word Xbox.

Just thought I should rant bit at your poorly influenced biases. DK, don't diss game systems, there isn't a system out there that doesnt have something good to offer. Being bised about gaming systems is just as bad as being a racist.

I agree with Catboy! Wind Waker and Sunshine are my all time favorite games closely followed by Wario World.
