I skate but i know alot about skateboards and boarding becuase one of my best friends board. element is a much better street company and birdhouse is vert. So there really isnt good way you can answer that question. But yes i love booting almost as much and unicycling and im pretty good i can do a back flip and get frontside air on a 12' so its all cool...

You won't go wrong with a Black Label. Lib Tech is pretty good too, especially their 'slick' boards with the fiberglass plys... pretty much unbreakable.

I didn't answer the poll; I've never ridden either of those brands. My friend had a birdhouse that pretty much fell apart in a week. I'd never buy a birdhouse.

mostly a vert skater, I never go into the street thing. To many sprained ankles and broken boards. I have a skate park just down the road from my house, and skate when it rains.

Element. I can't think of anything that was ever good from Birdhouse. I too was only a bowl/vert skater, I never understood all the lame kickflips and stuf...

I unicycle to do all the tricks I never could on a skateboard (drops, 180s, grinds, etc)
