Due to popular demand (meaning 1 request) I have taken pictures of my duct tape cd holder (and my hat[and of course my wallet]) and.... yeah. So here they are.

Fortunately my bumper sticker makes it a bit more original

I also have a duct tape Rubiks Cube Holder that goes on your belt, but it's crappy and I won't post it.

What is ridiculous is some people actually go out and buy these things. HERE! (http://www.ducttapefashion.com/) but then again, a duct tape belt would be cool...

I used to have a duct tape wallet but then it got worn out and it smelled bad so my dad got me a regular one for my birthday. I used a part of a liplock bag to make a pocket for my ID. I also burned my name into it with some paper clips.

oh yeah those all are awesome. I might have to make myself some sort of hat.

Is that hat collapsible?

James_Potter
2004-12-21, 07:59 PM
Well.... I guess you could call it collapsible, but any hat can collapse if you want it to, can't it? :D

Thanks, mr A_C. There's two girls at my school who are a LOT better at making duct tape stuff than me, they have a sort of business selling duct tape things. They can make a duct tape rose with red and green duct tape that looks like a real rose.

the best i've got is a folder encased in duct tape... and its at school

my grandpa has slippers that consist of the original lining (probably 30 + years old) and duct tape

i think i'm going to get to work on a wallet myself... if the other one dies (or maybe i'll just coat the good one in ducttape and call it a duct tape wallet)

here's a crafty example of the brute strenght of duct-tape.

Trust me, it holds, and it holds on strong.

Ah duct tape, the miracle product. I've long held the belief that on the seventh day god did not rest, he invented all the cool stuff like power tools, duct tape and yes, even unicycles.:D

I actually tried to make a miniature unicycle once, like a barbie-sized one, but it didn't work. I think I could do it if I tried hard enough, though.

out of Duct tape?

I built a mini-uni out of an old finger bike BMX thing. I used the seat and the front fork and glued the cranks on it. it works just like a real uni!

We had a "future party" at my house when I lived with 6 students right next to the UCSC campus. For my costume I recycled a package of 5 1/4" floppy disks and a roll of duct tape, and ended up with a far-out trench coat. Other than that party, I've yet to find another use for it...

Ive made aduct tape belt before, and it best if you cut the top off a normalt belt and put it on there it looks really cool. But you must rember when poking the whole for the belt it is best to use a nealry burning hot screw driver becuase this prevents it from gettin all stiky

My boyfriend plays guitar and drums, and the uses duck tape to make his own guitar straps, and custom grips on his drum sticks. I think the whole making things out of duct tape is quite cool

Especially the top hat!

I just bought a duct tape wallet like 2 weeks ago. And I was walking around feeling so original, but then I saw this thread and you guys ruined it all.

So that was 30 bad spent bucks.

Edit: The thing had lifetime guarantee and was made out of Super Duct Tape so i guess it wasn´t such a bad thing after all.

Was it one of those Super Duck brands or whatever. I have seen some really high quality duct tape wallets at the mall before, but never wanted to caugh up the $20+ for it when I could make one. There is no such thing as wasted money or "bad spent bucks" it's just a lesson learned.
