British Unicycle Convention - BUC12

22nd – 24th April, 2005 Billingham

The UK's Biggest and best unicycle convention. Lots of unicycle related events including Trails, freestyle and hockey competitions. The halls are open 24 hours a day and there will be Loads of workshops and games. Muni rides for all, with beginners or "hard core" riding on the amazing North Yorkshire Moors. For the evenings we have a unicycle Ceilidh with a local band, night ride to pub(s), music from local band and "The Show". We will have a full program for partners or non riders, including a daytime crèche.

Food and accommodation is all included in the price of the convention. You can pre-register now on line at our website:

i want to do the trials course does it cost

The Trials course will be open during all the day time hours. It will not cost any additional cost to go on once you have registered for the convention.

Have to say that I enjoyed my first BUC last year. Entrance fee is good value for money with all meals included - and tasty too.

I remember the temperature being quite hot despite it being relatively early in the year - someone managed to divert a distant ice cream van, I think he nearly sold out.

This year, I regret to announce that I will not be able to attend the BUC. Due to transport problems, financial difficulties and... exams, but keep me posted on how the Freestyle comp gets on as thats what i would have been entering.
